It was great to meet you and Donovan at NCECA this year. I will be doing some tests on low fire soda in the next few weeks, and the information I got from you guys will come in helpful.
All the best,
Leanne Moe

Hi Colleen.
I'm sorry I won't be at NCECA this year. Just can't afford the time and travel. I'm doing more workshops this year and will be taking time out for those. I do hope to meet you somewhere down the line, though! Thanks for being in touch. Have fun!

hi colleen,

thanks for saying hi and for the compliment. your work is wonderful - its nice to get to see a larger body of it. considering everything that was happening, i couldnt have been happier with the exhibit. im not involved with the packing and shipping so i dont know if you've recieved your package, but i do know that the work is moving along. im now putting together our first exhibit of the season - barbara knutson - we have been doing six a year. and im finally back to making pots. happy new year. chuck

Colleen, Great new work - really love the form of the new pitcher. Have always liked your change in textures as it relates to form (the oval pitcher) but these latest ones seem more adventurous. Well done!

It wasn't a matter of it being full (although it could be...), more that by the time I stumbled upon it, it was too late to make arrangements to go - I teach full time at a high school and wouldn't be able to get away. I seem to remember something happening at Truro - I will check the dates. Thanks so much!

The bottles I fired with Chris Guston this last fall - great kiln makes even the most mundane of bottles look pretty good. Hoping to fire again with him fall 08. Josh DeWeese? Great opportunity for you!

Hello Colleen, Thanks for your praise, it's always welcome. I do wood fire and I do use salt. I designed my kiln for soda, but haven't had that much success. So I have used salt instead. I hope that I can try Emily Murphy's method of introducing soda.

I have been having fun playing around on this site. It should be interesting to see what happens with it. I just put up a post about the group on my blog, so I'm curious to see if we get more people joining in.
I'm looking forward to trying out the wollastonite and lithium in my next firing!
