Second firing notes.....

Howdy y'all.......I have been completely stacked with work lately and I can assure you that is the chief cause to my delay in posting new photos, blogs etc.. I really have been running full steam for a couple months now and I am very happy to say that I finally fired my second load of pots. I will be posting photos this weekend and I feel that I learned a great deal from my "virgin firing", for those that know, and I am as optimistic for the future as ever. My kiln owes all of its credit to Richard Burkett and David Cuzick. Without there willingness to share what they have learned, my current ceramic adventures would not be where they are now.Additionally, I would like to thank Keith Phillips for his steady flow of amazing insight. This web group has truly been a guiding force in my leap into the soda world as I know it was intended to be. So, to everyone, I thank you. I will post photos very soon and I look forward................
