I'm not sure what you mean by soda ice Gene. Are you referring to the pitted surfaces that Gail Nichols gets on her soda fired pieces? She uses a high alumina body and introduces water into the kiln, on cooling I believe, to get that effect. Some a…

Could there be a change in the your clay body ingredients? When the silica alumina ratio of a clay body is under 3, the body will flash. When you get above that 3 ratio you can start losing the flashing. If you've changed some ingredients or if the…

PS: Here's the recipe for my blue green celadon. The B color combination, which is the one I use regularly, is a beautiful, rich color blue green, with good reduction. This is a very buttery celadon, not super glossy. #6925 June Perry blue green C…

Thanks Pamela!
I changed the setting for our group on my blog and put it in as a link. Earlier, I had it in the setting that would automatically post the latest message on blogs I have linked to my blog page; but I don't think you have the setting on this blog that woud permit that.If you notice the other blogs on my site, automatically show the latest messages; but when I put this blog in that group, it only brought up that spam message or an error message.
I don't know if this network "ning" allows the type of setting that I'm talking referring to???

I think I have found the member you were referring to and have banned him. Please try again and see if that has corrected the problem.

Hi June,
I am happy to delete the spammer if you let me know who it is. I went to your site and clicked the link for the salt/soda site and it popped up no problem. So, I am not sure what is going on, but I am happy to do something if I know who the person is.
