Hi David,

Crazy at school. Hand is all better and I am at it again. Wow, Korea. You have my permission to use any of my photos. Here is a site to go to where my grad portfolio is:

My favorite wood pagoda with detail is on their. If you need anything else, let my know. Good Luck. As I get some finished work I will put them up.

RE: Canadian Craft Federation Exhibit Presentation

May I please show images of your work in a PowerPoint presentation of Canadian work at South Korea?
You have been identified as a potter who has been influenced by Asian and especially Korean ceramics.
Ideally I would like one or two images of your Asian (preferable Korean) inspired work and one image of you.
(All images must be less than 1 mb or approximately 600 pixels x 600 pixels (at 72 pixels per inch)
Unfortunately I have been given less than 2 weeks to complete my research for the presentation.
If you are interested please send images ASAP please.

If not able to send images, could I please have your permission to find and use images of your work for this international presentation of Canadian work at the Cheongju International Craft Biennale in South Korea?

Look forward to hearing from you and thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Best wishes

Hi Dave,
I sprained my hand and at the moment i am not doing very much in anything. I would love to send you 2 images of the pagodas that were done in salt/soda with the recipe which was yours to begin with and the technique. I'll send one of the greyish one and the orangie one. I still may have the salt/soda combo that we did for those firings. I can not wait to see you guys.
1:00 at the UMASS booth. Tues. the 7th. my cell number is 774-328-0957 just in case. I will have this on all the time. Arlynn

Arlynn are you doing any salt-soda stuff these days? If not would you be interested in sending me an old image of your good soda stuff? I'm puttting to gether a powerpoint for NCECA and inviting some of the best potters from around the world to submit...seriously. I could use a few words on the work you end up choosing. I'll attach the letter I'm using to the end of this message.
best

Dear Arylnn:

....I'm a full time potter who is leading a discussion of both salt and soda firing at NCECA phoenix, arizona.(This program information is on the NCECA website (10th April Friday 4:30-6:00pm Connections)) I'm writing to ask if you might be interested to contribute by either writing a paragraph or sending a picture (or both) of your most recent work? I believe that having your words and or images of your work at the connections meeting would be a valuable education for delegates of all ages.

Thank you in advance for any information you might wish to contribute. If possible please email any info before March 25th 2009.
Thank you again for your kind consideration.

IF YOU WISH TO PARTICIPATE PLEASE READ BELOW

Thank you for agreeing to contribute!

1.0 Either 1 or 2 images would be used for powerpoint so jpeg would be best. I have not been told the size of the room so images just under 1mb should be more than adequate (or whatever is convienent for you).

2.0 The paragraph can be either on where your work is headed, the image or on salt/soda glazing in general as we will covering these kind of topics.
If there are any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Best wishes & thank you again.
