What kind of work do you do?
I create function, highly decorated pieces. I enjoy filling the surface with lots of slip and carving details. I draw inspiration for my work mostly from vintage floral wallpaper designs, Turkish ceramics from the 16-1800s and nature. I also really like the ideas about craftsmanship and living with art and handmade objects that was started during the Arts and Crafts Movement.
