Allison - I'll be curating another show at the Ice House in Berkeley Springs next year and thought your work would be a natural fit. I'll be back in touch with details as they firm up. I'll be firing the wood-kiln in a couple of weeks. Going with all soda this time rather than the salt/soda mix. Take care...Crawford
I also am gardening, but in a city plot, since I have an apartment. My 2nd year trying it out. Have been writing music. And I am online quite a bit, talking to friends and finding games. I have really bad chronic pain lately, so doing anything physical takes a lot out of me, so I really haven't been doing pottery, except for last week I made 4 pinched dishes. I got in a rare mood for making some.
I read your web page about your process, learned quite a bit I hadn't known. And the "visiting" page was interesting too about the history of the place.
i threw in a test of that tenmoku, it looks promising, i'll have to tweak it a little bit and maybe put it in a spot to shield it from some of the salt. thanks again!
no but thank you so much. i fired 18 of my pieces actually yesterday on the 26th. im pulling them out tonight. i plan on posting pictures of the ware online.

Just fired the wood kiln this past weekend. Will be opening her up on Saturday. Hoping for improvements in my salt/soda chamber.
Hope all is well in Boonsboro.
Crawford...
